Ryne Sandberg Success (Philadelphia Phillies) - June 12th, 2015
On 5/18/15 I sent a LOR, SASE & 3 cards to: Ryne Sandberg Citizens Bank Park 1 Citizens Bank Way Philadelphia, PA 19148-5249 I received my 3 cards back unsigned with a form letter, with what appears to be a PP signature and a 4 x 6 photo with an actual signature. I know it's a real signature because I've compared it to several other successes with the same photo and they all have variations in the signature. Chase Utley Phillies fail (Philadelphia Phillies) - May 9th, 2015
Sent Mr Utley 2 cards during spring training and got them back unsigned in a Phillies envelope today. There was a letter on Phillies letterhead saying he appreciates the fans but is too busy to send a more personal response.. Included in the envelope was a 4X6 card with his stats on the back and a photo on the front with a fake autograph.. Oh Well, at least they could have sent back my stamped return envelope so I could use it again....
